How to play

From signing up to entering the world. Everything is done on Windows.

  1. Create an account

    The e-mail and password on the site are the ones you will use in the game.

  2. Run the setup program

    The program opens the game installation in Battle.net, downloads the official launcher and checks its SHA-256, adds our server and the game folder to the launcher and creates a desktop shortcut. It does not ask for administrator rights and does not change game files.

    Check the SHA-256 of the downloaded file:

    Double-click the file to run it. Windows may warn about an unknown publisher — click “More info”, then “Run anyway”. It is a text file: you can open it in Notepad and read it before running.

    You need Battle.net with your Blizzard account. If it is not installed, the program opens its download page.

  3. Log in to the game

    Start the “4everWoW” desktop shortcut, click PLAY and log in with the same e-mail and password as on the site.

    If the first attempt to enter the world fails, log in again without closing the game.

Without the setup program

The same by hand: install the client via Battle.net and set up the launcher.

  1. Install the game client

    The client is installed officially, via Battle.net, and it must be the version the server accepts: with another one it will not let you in. We do not and will not host client files.

    Client version: 1.60.1.70532

    While the game is not listed in Battle.net, open the installation with a command: Win+R, cmd, then:

    "C:\Program Files (x86)\Battle.net\Battle.net.exe" --game=wow_classic_beta --install

    In the installation window you can choose the text and voice language.

  2. Set up the launcher

    The launcher is downloaded from its official release page. It takes our server address from the servers.json file.

    Launcher version: 2.4.2

    Check the SHA-256 of the downloaded file:
